Dantokpa: Hangar B reopens this Monday after six weeks of repairs

Hangar B at Dantokpa market, closed for six weeks for roof and electrical repairs, reopened this Monday morning. The Dantokpa Market Management Company (SOGEMA) announced the gradual return of traders, with a reorganisation of the aisles between fabric and crockery stalls.
The works had been decided after several water leaks were noted during the last rainy season, which damaged goods and angered traders demanding swift action. The extended closure had also pushed some activity toward neighbouring hangars, creating temporary overcrowding.
This Monday, the first traders were resetting their stalls from dawn, some mentioning significant lost income after six weeks of partial disruption. SOGEMA is promising a commercial gesture on this month's fees, a measure welcomed by the traders' association but still considered insufficient by some.
What the creator verified this Monday morning: Hangar B effectively reopened, with about thirty traders resettled by midday. What remains to be confirmed: the exact terms of the commercial gesture SOGEMA announced on fees.
