Also present were Kassouri Drissa, patron and president of the Bondoukou youth association for mutual aid and solidarity, the sub-prefect of Yézimala Akoré née Bodo Lydie Marcelle, businessman Adou Kofi Théodore and the mayor of Bondoukou. In a border area where coexistence between communities receives close attention, these tournaments serve as much to bring young people onto the pitch as to bring local authorities together. What remains to be confirmed: the timing of a next edition.
